For friends of Mt Difficulty Wines, membership of the mailing list brings a special Christmas bonus this year. For every case (12) of Mt Difficulty Estate or Single Vineyard wine ordered by our mailing list customers before Christmas Eve we will send 2kg of premium export quality Central Otago cherries (within NZ). This offer is available for the first 100 full or mixed cases of wine ordered, and includes the Cherry Merry Christmas Mixed case. Please note – the offer excludes our Roaring Meg wines.
The wine orders will be dispatched as soon as they are recieved, while (for orders received on or before Thursday 17th December) cherries will be dispatched on the customer’s choice of Monday 21st December OR Monday 11th January 2010. Cherries for orders placed after the 17th December will automatically be dispatched on January 11th. We are happy to send the cherries to a third party if customers chose to gift them to friends or family.
To ensure that the cherries reach their destination in the best possible condition, we ask the following:
• Your delivery address should be a daytime address where someone will be able to receive and refrigerate the cherries.
• The extra time required for rural delivery may spoil the cherries - please provide an alternate delivery address.
• If your cherries are being sent as a gift, please let the recipient know to expect them.
The cherries we are sending are export quality cherries grown by The Big Fat Cherry Company in Ripponvale near Cromwell. Their cherries are all newer varieties - Roseanne, Celest, Stella, Lapin and Sweetheart. The variety of cherry sent will depend both on the timing of the orders and the weather conditions of the season.
