There's "wonderful nosh" at the end of the Rail Trail

There’s a group of golfing gals from Warkworth who love the Central Otago life!  In April 2008 they biked the Central Otago 2008 Rail Trail and had such a great time another group came and did it all again in March 2010.

After their first Rail Trail experience the ladies visited three Cromwell vineyards and fell in love with our “wonderful nosh” and Roaring Meg Pinot Noir. During their Mt Difficulty wine tasting with Chris, Rail Trailer Alison Brown discovered that she knew Chris’s mum from her home gof club!  What a small world.

Alison brought a different bunch of women back in March 2010, especially to experience autumnal view and more Roaring Meg Pinot Noir. They timed their late lunch to the day and hour of  finishing the Rail Trail half an hour away in Clyde.  Alison says the second visit was just as enjoyable though March was just a little early for the autumn colours.  Mt Difficulty is definitely a “must” for her now when travelling through the Cromwell region.

“We’ll be back!”
