Silver Medal for Mt Difficulty Pinot Gris
The San Francisco International Wine Competition is the largest, most influential international wine competition in America and is judged by a prestigious panel of nationally recognized wine experts. Judging is based on a blind, consensual procedure, ensuring competitive integrity as it remains the most respected wine competition in the U.S.
On June 18th, 19th and 20th, the San Francisco International Wine Competition celebrated its 30th year of awarding wine excellence. The three days of judging was conducted at the Hotel Nikko in the heart of downtown San Francisco by 46 distinguished judges. With 1290 wineries participating from 27 countries, this year 3897 wines competed for top awards.
Mt Difficulty Wines was awarded a Silver Medal for Mt Difficulty Estate Pinot Gris 2009.
