Mt Difficulty Chardonnay 2007
“Total style is Grand Cru Chablis, or even a leaner vintage of Corton-Charlemagne, with acid showing now. Once breathed, bouquet is beautiful, showing similar florals to the riesling from the same vineyard (as Chablis can). Pale stonefruit and lee-autolysis notes extend into the palate, which is richer than first impressions convey. Definitely needs a couple of years to marry up, then cellar 3-10 years.” – Geoff Kelly, WINENZ, Autumn 2009 View Mt Difficulty Chardonnay 2007
